Mission Statement

The mission of the Veterans DD-214 Project is to provide FREE technology support and computer equipment to U.S. military Veterans who rely on digital access to the Department of Veterans Affairs healthcare system.

Through remote technical assistance, computer repair, and donated hardware, we eliminate the technological barriers that prevent Veterans from accessing medical appointments, health records, secure communications, and earned benefits.

Our goal is to support the 9 million+ Military Veterans enrolled in the VA healthcare system, including over 5 million listed as service-connected disabled.

Founder's Statement

I founded DD-214 Project with one simple belief: Veterans should never be locked out of the healthcare and benefits they earned because of technology barriers.

As a Sergeant in the United States Army, I served during the Cold War in Germany flying border missions and later during Desert Storm with the 1st Infantry Division and 1st Aviation. Like many Veterans, I understand what it means to serve — and what it means to rely on the VA system afterward.

Today, more than nine million Veterans depend on VA healthcare. Accessing that system requires computers, secure logins, document uploads, and digital communication. For many Veterans — especially older or disabled Veterans — these requirements become barriers instead of gateways. Technology should not stand between a Veteran and their care.

For over 40 years I have worked in technology, beginning in 1983. I served 20 years in law enforcement as a major case detective and computer forensics expert. After retirement I founded Forensic Solutions Inc., spending another 18 years in computer forensics, data recovery, and repair.

DD-214 Project is how I make that promise real — for Veterans. With your support, we ensure no Veteran is left behind on today's digital battlefield.
